Hi. I’m Jim Fitzsimmons, and at the start of this I was just going to develop this site in and promote credit cards and you’ll see the first few posts here are just that. (I get a commission if you sign up for a credit card. In fact, while we’re talking here assume I’m making money on every link or story you read, OK? I don’t, not by a longshot but there you go – we’re on the up and up.

Here’s where it gets good: It seems I’ve gotten myself into a wee bit of trouble with credit card debt, and this site is my attempt at both telling my story and also getting out of debt at the same time. I’ve given myself 1000 days for this project. I didn’t get in debt overnight, so I don’t expect the debt to disappear overnight. I’ll keep you updated as we go along, and also share some stories as to how I got into this mess. We might even learn something, or your might learn from my mistakes, which is all I really ask. If I could help one person NOT do what I did, this site is a success.

So, there you are. My story. One day at a time. 999 to go.
